A collaborative, curious approach to growth and change

Sometimes it feels like there are no options — or far too many. These questions can weigh heavily on your thoughts, health, and wellbeing. I help individuals, couples, and families explore these moments, uncover strengths, and navigate obstacles.

My work includes supporting people with anxiety, depression, and trauma, and I'm especially passionate about helping youth and adults explore their interests, motivations, and identities.

I see myself as a consultant — offering tools and perspective to help you uncover the knowledge you already carry about your life, what you want, and how to get there. You don't need to have it all figured out.

With over a decade of clinical experience, I currently serve as Senior Clinical Manager at Alongside. Previously, I held roles as Senior Clinical Manager at Little Otter, Family Wellness Counselor at Cortica, and Lead Therapist at the San Diego Center for Children.

Outside of the therapy room, I find inspiration in the ocean and mountains — sailing, scuba diving, and hiking with family and friends.

Therapeutic Approach

I draw from a range of evidence-based approaches, tailored to what works best for you — not a one-size-fits-all model.

Narrative Therapy

Together we explore the stories shaping your life — and find space to rewrite the ones that are no longer serving you. Your story belongs to you.

Solution-Focused Practice

Rather than dwelling on problems, we highlight your existing strengths and build on what's already working — because you already carry a great deal of wisdom.

Cognitive Behavioral Tools

Practical strategies to identify and shift unhelpful thought patterns, build coping skills, and create lasting, meaningful change in your daily life.

Therapy Services

All sessions are offered virtually — available to clients in California, North Carolina, Florida, and Texas.

Individual Therapy

One-on-one support for adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, and identity — exploring who you are and who you want to become.

Child & Adolescent Therapy

Developmentally sensitive support for children and teens. I'm especially passionate about helping young people explore their interests, motivations, and sense of self.

Couples Counseling

Strengthen communication, navigate conflict, and deepen connection. I work with couples at all stages — from building a stronger foundation to working through difficult moments.

Family Therapy

Improve family dynamics and build stronger bonds. I welcome all family structures, including families navigating autism, neurodevelopment, and identity.

Frequently Asked Questions

You don't need to be in crisis to benefit from therapy. If you're feeling stuck, curious, or simply want a space to think things through, that's enough. Therapy can be a place to explore who you are, what you want, and how to get there — and a free 15-minute consultation is a low-stakes way to see if it's a good fit.

The first session is a chance for us to get to know each other. We'll talk about what brings you in, what you're hoping to get out of therapy, and what a good fit looks like for you. There's no pressure — this is as much your chance to evaluate me as it is for me to understand your needs.

Yes — I offer a free 15-minute phone or video consultation. It's a great opportunity to ask questions, share a bit about what you're looking for, and see if we're a good match before committing to a full session.

I am currently licensed to provide therapy in California, North Carolina, Florida, and Texas. All sessions are held virtually. If you're located in a different state, please reach out and I can help connect you with resources.

Yes, I accept several insurance plans. Coverage and co-pays vary, so the best way to confirm is to reach out directly — I'm happy to help you understand your benefits before scheduling. If your plan is out-of-network, I can provide a superbill for potential reimbursement through your insurer.

My standard rate is $195 for a 50-minute session. I believe financial barriers should not prevent people from accessing quality care, so I offer a limited number of sliding scale spots for clients with demonstrated financial need. Please feel free to bring this up when we connect — there's no judgment, only a shared goal of making this work for you.

Yes. Everything discussed in therapy is strictly confidential, with limited exceptions required by law — such as imminent risk of harm or mandatory reporting obligations. I explain these limitations clearly at the start of our work together so there are no surprises.
